Mike Billinge.
It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of one of our bowling friends Mike Billinge. Mike moved to Lowther Gdns last year where he played for the Mens C team. Before this, he was a long standing member of Marine Park. Mike had a fall and had to go into Blackpool Hospital but moved to Chorley where he came from and his family live. He passed away in the Hospital on the 23rd of December. Our deepest sympathies go to his family.
There is not to be a funeral as was his wish.

Change To Vets Draw..
At the AGM on the 2nd December, the proposal from Lowther Gdns to CHANGE THE DRAW FOR VETS LEAGUE ONLY was accepted. Therefore, next season the top four merits will be randomly drawn against each other and then the remaining four players will be randomly drawn against each other. The new rule will be officially written up in the New Year before the season start.

The Mayors Handicap Trophy Sat/Sun 23rd/24th May at Hope Street Park The Granville Autos Trophy Sat/Sun 20th/21st June at Lytham BC The Elsie Swift Menā€™s Doubles Sat/Sun 1st /2nd August at Lowther Gardens BC (Formerly Mychef). The Peter Watson Handicap Trophy Sat/Sun 5th/6th September at East End BC

LSAMBL Chairman.
Brian swift has sadly stepped down as Chairman of LSAMBL. His selfless support for our bowling community will thankfully continue. However, there is now a vacancy for the role of Chairman. Nominations welcome.
