The Darwen VETS Singles Final, played on Friday 26th May at Lower Darwen Memorial was won by Andy White who beat Ian Armstrong 21-13.

Darwen VETS Doubles FINAL - Friday August 25th for Final 8 pairs at Everton St. The winners of the DARWEN VETS DOUBLES 2023 were Bill and Julie Catterall who beat Kevin and Pam Haslam in the final 21-10.

Salesbury Trophy Competition.
The Salesbury Trophy Handicap group games will commence on Wednesday 16th,23rd and 30th of August. All games start 1.15pm except for Home games for Whitehall C and Feniscowles C - 10.15am. The matches will be won on the number of team chalks scored with the handicap added onto the final total - 2 points win, 1 point draw. The top of each group plus the one best runner up out of all 7 groups to progress to the QF. Send results on same day as the match to Bill on 07443525868. QF - 6th September, Semis - 13th September with the final on presentation day at Darwen Subs on the 20th September 2023. The Final was at Darwen Subs on Wednesday 20th September, 10.30am roll up with a 11am start time. Whitehall A (SCR) beat Crown (+56)--- 162-143. Commiserations to the losing semi finalists Whitehall B and Salesbury A and to the runners up Crown who have all been financially renumerated at our presentation awards afternoon after the Final was completed.
